Remember ITV Coronation Street's Kelly Crabtree? Here is what she looks like now

It has been almost ten years since Kelly Crabtree walked the cobbles of Weatherfield.

The sassy Underworld worker, played by Tupele Dorgu, first appeared in Coronation Street back in 2004 and took viewers on a whirlwind of storylines, fast becoming a well-loved character.

For her on-again-off-again relationship with Lloyd Mullaney, played by Craig Charles, to her often hilarious showdowns with arch nemeses Becky Granger, played by Katherine Kelly, she was a woman with a fiery temper and a heart of gold.

Kelly walked away from the Rovers in 2010 when actress Tupele decided not to renew her contract with the show.

As she left she shouted: "I'm Kelly Crabtree with the legs!"

And it seems Tupele still has the legs and hasn't aged a day since she left.

Since quitting the soap the actress has appeared in a number of British TV shows, including a short stint as Dr Berrington in Hollyoaks.

Preston-born Tupele has also been in on-off episodes of Waterloo Road, Casualty, All at Sea and Cucumber.

But the stage was clearly calling her, as she took on a number of roles in the West End including Velma Kelly in a 2012 tour of Chicago.

She played Rita in Educating Rita, Paulette in Legally Blonde, Belinda Bleir in Noises Off at the Royal Court in Liverpool and the Wicked Queen in Snow White at the Flora Pavilion in New Brighton, Wirral.

But she has currently swapped the stage for quiet moments at home with her first child, as the 41-year-old and her partner of ten years, Mark Flanagan, welcomed little Maddox into the world in January.

After the arrival of their son, Tupele thanked the midwives and staff on Twitter, saying: "Cannot applaud & thank enough, all the kind, incredible staff & heroic midwives & Drs at @SMH_GynMatNicu [St Mary's Hospital, Manchester] who looked after me & helped safely deliver my beautiful boy Maddox.

"It’s the best place to have a baby. From the bottom of our hearts. Thank you."

Clearly besotted with her newborn, Tupele regularly tweets pictures of Maddox and also shared her excitement of experiencing her first Mother's Day in March this year.
