Almost 700,000 people watched Ryan Tubridy’s last Late Late Show on Friday night.
Figures revealed by RTE show Tubs last night at the helm of the Friday night chat show had an average audience of 680K (incl. RTÉ One+1), with an audience share of 63.2%.
A spokesman for RTE said; “Friday's season finale has been streamed 68,600 times so far. As of May 28th, the LLS has had a total of 1.265m streams on Player (Sep 2nd 2022 - May 28th 2023).”
In June 2009, some 996,000 viewers tuned in to watch Pat Kenny's last ever Late Late Show at one point, while 1, 222,000 tuned into Gay Byrne's final night in 1999.

Elsewhere, an average 36,000 tuned out of watching Angela Scanlon’s Ask Me Anything chat show, compared to figures last week.
“Angela Scanlon's Ask Me Anything had an average audience of 183,000 (incl. RTÉ One+1), with an audience share of 20%. The series has had 67,200 Player streams to date.”
Charlene McKenna’s Clean Sweep had an average audience of 227k, (incl. RTÉ One+1), with an audience share of 21%. Clean Sweep has had 338,000 RTÉ Player streams to date.
And Claire Byrne’s Ireland's Smartest (semi-final) had an average audience of 265k, (incl. RTÉ One+1), with an audience share of 29% . The series has had 41,800 RTÉ Player streams to date..
