The skeleton of a person has been found in the mountainous area of the Greek island of Rhodes, in just over two years after a Scottish woman went missing.
Police are now investigating the possibility that the remains may be 60-year-old Diane Davison, who disappeared from the island in November 2019, as reported by the Daily Record.
The grim discovery was made by a hunter in an inaccessible area of the mountains between Psinthos, Maritsa, and Kalythi on Saturday morning.

While the height, hair colour and clothes match Diane's description, further testing is required to establish the identity.
The disappearance of Diane sparked a frantic search operation in Rhodes when she went missing over two years ago.
