Relive Mitch Holthus’ epic call of Chiefs’ win vs. Bills in AFC Championship Game

The Kansas City Chiefs are Super Bowl-bound after defeating the Buffalo Bills in a memorable AFC Championship Game matchup on Sunday evening.

Kansas City was lifted to victory by star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who managed to muster a career-defining performance that helped send the Chiefs to their third consecutive Super Bowl.

Sunday’s contest wasn’t decided until Kansas City’s final drive in the fourth quarter. The Chiefs managed to keep legendary play-by-play broadcaster Mitch Holthus on edge until the Mahomes found veteran running back Samaje Perine for a first down that put the game on ice.

Take a look at this video of Holthus’ epic call of Perine’s reception, which was posted to Twitter by the Chiefs’ official account:

Though Kansas City’s work is far from over, the excitement of the Chiefs’ latest victory—and Holthus’ epic call—are sure to have made for enduring memories that will stick with fans in Western Missouri for the rest of their lives.
