During the inauguration of Donald Trump, attendees were called to rise for an invocation led by Archbishop of New York Timothy Dolan. In his prayer, Dolan asked for wisdom from the heavens to guide the President, expressing a hope for divine intervention in the leadership of the nation. He concluded with a plea for God to bless America and address its imperfections.

Following Dolan, Rev. Franklin Graham, the son of renowned evangelist Billy Graham, delivered an additional invocation. Graham's prayer focused on seeking divine protection, guidance, and wisdom for President Trump. He asked for blessings upon the President and for the nation to be positively impacted through his leadership.
