Midfielder Luca Connell is assessing his options in Scotland and England, after being released by Scottish champions Celtic.
The Liverpool-born midfielder spent last season on loan at Queen's Park, helping them reach the Championship via a play-off final win over Airdrie, but Celtic have declined to take up his final year option.
Republic of Ireland under-21 internationalist Connell moved to the Glasgow giants from Bolton Wanderers in 2019, but has struggled to make his mark on the Celtic first team.
An option for Connell could be if new Spiders boss Owen Coyle opts to sign him.
