The Kansas City Chiefs and the NFL are teasing the release of the new Netflix sports documentary series “Quarterback.”
NFL Films, Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions and Patrick Mahomes’ 2PM Productions partnered up with Netflix to release a brand-new behind-the-scenes docuseries. Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes, Vikings QB Kirk Cousins and Falcons QB Marcus Mariota are the subjects of the docuseries. The goal is to provide exclusive access to the lives of players from the most important position in the sport, both on and off the field.
“I’m excited for fans to get an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at an unforgettable season for the entire Chiefs organization and for my family,” said Mahomes, via press release in February. “From welcoming home a new baby in the middle of the season to welcoming the Lombardi trophy back to Kansas City, our crew was there for it all. This new Netflix series will show the time, preparation and balance that it takes to be an NFL quarterback and perform on the biggest stage.”
The documentary series is set to hit Netflix just about a month from now on Wednesday, July 12. The trailer is set for release on Wednesday, June 14.
