A woman inside the Bishopbriggs home of gangland hood Steven 'Bonzo' Daniel when it was rammed by a car is said to have been left 'shaken'.
A car smashed into the three-bedroom £340k villa on Tuesday night before catching fire. It's believed Daniel, 42, shares the home with his partner.
The property on John Marshall Drive was left badly damaged with pictures from the scene showing the door of the property boarded up and debris littered on the ground outside. The wall of the porch at the property was also partially caved in by the force of the crash and tyre tracks could be seen on the grass in the front garden, reports the Daily Record.

A source told the Daily Record that Bonzo's relative was inside the property watching TV at the time a Mitsubishi vehicle ploughed into the front door. She is understood to have been left shaken but escaped unharmed.
Balaclava thugs are also said to have been seen running from the vehicle after the crash.
The source said: "One of Bonzo's relatives was in the house at the time and she got the absolute fright of her life when the car smashed into the front of the house.
"Apparently she was just sitting watching TV and the next thing she knew the porch wall was coming in, with a car sticking out the front of the house. She has been left shaken.
Bonzo, who is also known as Steven Peebles, suffered grotesque facial wounds after being attacked with a machete following a high-speed car chase in May 2017 after a wave of violence between the Lyons and Daniel families erupted the previous December.
The Bishopbriggs property was under police guard during the attempted murder trial of those behind the attack on his life. He later tried to sell the home in 2019, but it was reported that the purchase had fallen through.
CID was seen conducting door-to-door enquiries in the street on Wednesday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.45pm on Tuesday, November 15, police were called to an incident in John Marshall Drive, Glasgow where a vehicle struck a house and the vehicle went on fire. Police and Scottish Fire and Rescue Service attended the incident.
"There were no reports of any injuries. Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding this incident and anyone with information should contact 101 with reference number 3545 of November 15."
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were alerted at 9.48pm on Tuesday, November 15 to reports of a house on fire at John Marshall Drive, Bishopbriggs. Operations Control mobilised four fire appliances and firefighters extinguished a fire affecting a vehicle which had collided with a house. There were no reports of any injuries and crews left the scene after ensuring the area was made safe.”
