Grimsby-headquartered law firm Wilkin Chapman has opened its new Wolds office, uniting Horncastle and Louth on the latter’s Fairfield Industrial Estate.
The newly completed 10,000 sq ft two-storey building will be shared with its landlord, accountancy and business advisor Duncan & Toplis, due to move into the open-plan suite soon. To celebrate the law firm's arrival, more than 70 professional contacts were invited in to take a tour and network.
Claire Parker-Robson, Wilkin Chapman partner and Wolds office head, said it would bring a more coordinated and seamless service to clients. "We are thrilled to be moving into our new offices in Louth," she said. "The new development looks absolutely fantastic and provides us with a modern, flexible environment that’s better suited to hybrid working and the changing needs of our clients.

"The move represents our continued commitment to the Lincolnshire Wolds area, giving us a space that will allow for improved collaboration and communication between our colleagues and clients with the availability of plenty of parking, something which we weren’t previously able to offer.
“The new office will help us to support our clients, team members and the wider community for many years to come.”
Oxley House, named after the original accountancy practice Duncan & Toplis acquired in the town in 2007, is a second new build office in six years for Wilkin Chapman, following the switch from New Oxford House to Cartergate House in Grimsby in 2017.
The £25 million turnover company is ranked as the 111th largest law firm in the UK, employing more than 400 people. It has further offices in Lincoln, where it has also substantially expanded in recent years, and Beverley.
Wilkin Chapman had been in Louth's Cornmarket since 1981, having merged with Falconers, a long-established firm. In 1992 Thimbleby & Co was acquired, a firm established in the early Seventies. It had operated from Midlands Chambers in Market Street ahead of the move to Bull Ring, where premises have now been vacated.
Duncan & Toplis has 11 offices across the East Midlands, and is moving to the Lincoln Way address from Chequergate. The build began last May, with Lincoln-based Stirlin Developments delivering from the design stage.
