Regan Gascoigne dedicates Dancing on Ice routine to mum Sheryl as sister Bianca left in tears

Regan Gascoigne left his older sister Bianca in tears with an incredibly moving routine on Sunday night's Dancing on Ice.

Still the bookies' favourite to win the new series of the ITV show, Regan aimed to make it through to the 2022 final with a solo skate in a group performance at the start of the semi, before he and pro partner Karina Manta returned to the rink for another number.

After solo host Phillip Schofield teased that Regan and Karina would be dancing to a 'Whitney Houston classic,' the show cut to an ad break, before it returned with an emotional video in which Regan, son of football icon Gazza, revealed he'd be dedicating the skate to his mum Sheryl.

Telling Sheryl and Bianca why he chosen Whitney anthem I Have Nothing, Regan said: "Doesn't it just remind you of us dancing in the house together?"

In his VT, Regan told the camera: "There was never a boring moment in our house. There was never something going on that wasn't crazy," before telling Sheryl: "This song is to you, you're our world. Where would we be without you?"

He added: "My mum is like the rock in our family. She is like the most supportive, encouraging..."

After Regan and Karina completed their routine and earned their second perfect 40 in as many weeks from the judges, Bianca was seen crying in the studio audience, where she has been every week since Regan made his Dancing on Ice debut.

Phillip remarked: "Look, your sister is in bits!"

At the end of the show, Phillip had the job of announcing the results, with Bianca punching the air as it was revealed that Regan and Karina had made the final.
