Referee and VAR named for Celtic vs Inverness Scottish Cup final

Celtic Scottish Cup John Beaton

John Beaton has been named referee for the Scottish Cup final next month.

The official will take charge of the Hampden meeting between Celtic and Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

Experienced whistler Beaton will be assisted by linesman duo Graeme Stewart and Gordon Crawford.

David Dickinson is the fourth official for the showpiece final at the national stadium with Steven McLean on VAR duties alongside Gary Hilland.

The match will kick-off at 5.30pm on Saturday, June 3.
