Reese Witherspoon is one of the hardest working women in Hollywood and has revealed she already has another project lined up.
In addition to being an Oscar-winning actress, the media company she owns, Hello Sunshine, has a prolific track record for putting out award-winning TV and film content.
Stepping out on the red carpet at the Emmy’s on Sunday where she was nominated for her role in The Morning Show, she gave a hint about what’s to come after a chance encounter with a Real Housewives star.
Speaking to E!, the Legally Blonde star said: “I've never watched [Real Housewives] and I feel like I can't catch up, but I did sit next to a Real Housewife on a flight recently.”
When probed on names, she replied: “Well, we might have a Hello Sunshine project cooking now. I can't say anything.”
The Real Housewives reality TV franchise includes 14 different shows so narrowing down who her flight mate could be might be a challenge.
Hello Sunshine has a penchant for female-led stories, which according to its official website, “broaden perspective and empower women by giving them authorship, inspiring agency, and creating a platform to help them shape culture”.
Among its output to-date are TV shows Big Little Lies and The Morning Show, in which Witherspoon stars, as well as Daisy Jones & The Six, Little Fires Everywhere and the Daisy Edgar-Jones led movie Where the Crawdads Sing.
Hello Sunshine has won 15 awards and counting across the Emmys, Golden Globes and SAG.
