Bedding often comes as an afterthought in bedroom design, but this should not be the case. Linens have the power to define our spaces. Plus, when you spend over 30% of your life in bed, it is essential that you love the design. Reese Witherspoon just gave us more options.
The actress took to Instagram to share where to buy bedding: at her company, Draper James. The brand has been known mostly for its beautiful feminine, Southern-inspired clothing, but these homewares take the cake. Witherspoon's line of blue, purple, green, and white bedding is sold at Kohl's. The pieces are striking and design-led, with the same familiar sensibility from her clothing line.
'Snuggle season is here! Minnie loves this cozy bedding from Draper James –exclusively at Kohls,' Reese says while perched on the Anelle Comforter. In her bedroom, the blue and white of the popular bedding product perfectly complements her brown curtains and white walls. Clearly, humans and puppies alike are enchanted.
Eyelet Detail
This round pillow with striped white and blue ticking detail and a white bow on each end is gorgeously feminine and would be beautiful on a white bed.
Classic Pattern
This elevated green throw blanket would look gorgeous at the end of a bed. The color is so luxurious and elegant.
Reversible
I absolutely love the pattern on this blue and white quilt. It looks gorgeous with the shams and I'm obsessed with how it looks with white.
This gorgeous quilt comes with two matching shams for a complete look. I adore the slight purple tone and the floral pattern.
This stripey embroidered comforter brings both practicality and whimsy into any bedroom. I love the grass green color.
Subtle Embroidery
If you love the clean look of white bedding but don't want it to look boring, this comforter strikes the perfect balance. I love the sweetness of the flower embroidery against the clean white background.
As someone who has worked in luxury designer bedding, I can honestly say that Reese's designs look much higher-end. If you're a fan John Robshaw's designs, many of the quilts closely resemble his bedding, and could be a good alternative at a lower price point. Roller Rabbit also comes to mind. After seeing the designs, I was surprised that it's only about $90 for a set including shams compared to around $300 for one piece from other brands. If you like an elevated home full of pattern but don't want the cost, these could be a good alternative.
When Reese Witherspoon gets her hands on something we know it's going to be good, and this bedding is no exception.
