Reese Witherspoon enjoyed a special red carpet moment with her lookalike son Deacon Phillippe as the two stepped out for the Los Angeles premiere of Blink Twice.
The Legally Blonde actress, 48, and her singer offspring, 20, were all smiles as they posed for snappers at the star-studded event at the Directors Guild of America on Thursday evening.
Oscar-winner Witherspoon looked chic in an all-black ensemble comprising of sweetheart-neckline blouse and wide-leg trousers, while Phillippe opted for a more laid back in a blue polo shirt, crisp white trousers and trainers.
Witherspoon was in attendance to support friend and Big Little Lies co-star Zoë Kravitz. In addition to starring in it, Blink Twice marks her directorial debut.
The psychological thriller follows a cocktail waitress who infiltrates a tech mogul’s inner circle. It also stars Naomi Ackie and Kravitz’s real-life fiancé Channing Tatum.
This is the second time this year that Phillippe has been his mother’s date for a red carpet event. In January they attended the 2024 Golden Globes together.
Phillippe - who is from Witherspoon’s first marriage to actor Ryan Phillippe - is fast becoming a star in his own right, having released his debut album, A New Earth, last year to rave reviews.
He recently followed it up with latest single, Ignorance is Bliss.
Proud mum-of-three Witherspoon also shares daughter Ava Phillippe, 24, from her marriage to the Cruel Intentions star. People often remark that the resemblance between them is so great that they could pass for sisters.
Witherspoon additionally has 11-year-old son Tennessee James Toth, whom she shares with her second ex-husband Jim Toth.
