Reese's peanut butter Easter egg is back for another year

Reese's delicious chocolate egg filled with smooth, creamy peanut butter is back on the shelves for Easter.

The popular sweet treat was available to buy in stores last year too, and it flew off the shelves.

Now, especially for Easter Sunday (April 12), American chocolatier Hershey is bring it back.

Unlike other chocolate eggs, this beauty isn't hollow. Instead it is filled to the brim with peanut butter. Instead of biting into it, you can cut slices of the treat.

The egg is priced at £4 can be bought from Iceland. It weighs 170g and comes in an orange box.

Reese's fans can also buy a magnitude of other peanut butter-filled goodies at Iceland, including a Peanut Butter Reester Bunny (£3), Reese's Peanut Butter Mini Reester Bunnies (£2) and Reese's Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Egg (60p).

Elsewhere, Cadbury has revealed that it will be selling tins of Creme Eggs and Mini Eggs (£6 each) for the first time this Easter.

The Creme Egg  tins are filled with eight regular sized Creme Eggs and one 89g bag of mini Creme Eggs.

While the Mini Eggs tin is packed with 10 treatsize bags which weigh 32g each.

A few weeks ago, shoppers slammed a string of supermarkets for stocking Easter treats days after Christmas.

Co-op and Sainsbury's were lining store shelves with chocolate eggs on December 30, despite there being 100 days before April 12 at the time.
