Reed Blankenship injury update: Eagles safety exits game vs. Ravens with concussion

The Eagles will have to finish Sunday’s thriller against the Ravens without Reed Blankenship after Philadelphia’s star safety was forced to exit with a concussion.

Blankenship was the victim of friendly fire from Cooper DeJean while breaking up a pass to former Eagles wide receiver Nelson Agholor.

Blankenship had four tackles in the first half and will be replaced by backup safety Tristin McCollum and Avonte Maddox.

Cooper DeJean could see snaps at safety when Philadelphia plays a heavy defensive scheme.
