Chelsea star Reece James has responded to Rafael Leao's latest transfer hint over a possible move to Stamford Bridge in the transfer window. It comes as the latest update in a budding bromance between the two, who could soon become teammates in the near future.
The Portugal international was linked with a switch back in the summer, but it was too late in the window for a deal to get over the line. With a dwindling contract with his current club AC Milan, attention may turn towards the upcoming opportunities to strike a deal.
The 23-year-old has done little to quieten down the potential move, with his impressive performances continuing to garner attention. In the Serie A he has put up ideal attacking output and earned a call-up to the Portugal World Cup squad, scoring two goals from limited game time.

It has only increased his value and he continues to drop hints over joining the Blues in the future. It started with James claiming he was one of the toughest wingers he has come up against, to which Leao replied: "My bro."
The winger then went on to follow the official Chelsea TikTok account on his page, one of only a handful of accounts that he follows on the platform. He then continued his bromance with James, posting on his Instagram a happy birthday wish to the defender on his 23rd birthday.
James has since responded, saying: "Thank you bro." with the pair potentially linking up on the football pitch once again should the transfer go through.
