The company behind an all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant opposite Royal Liverpool University Hospital has entered liquidation, leading to jobs being lost.
B-Ding Limited, which traded as Buffet Club Restaurant in Prescot Street, closed after it failed to recover from a large reduction in trade due to the pandemic.
Jason Greenhalgh and Paul Stanley of Begbies Traynor were appointed as joint liquidators after the company ceased trading prior to a board meeting.

The firm added that four employees were made redundant.
A spokesperson for Begbies Traynor said: "Almost 2,000 bars and restaurants (1,918) in the North West were operating under significant financial distress during Q2 of 2022 according to our latest Red Flag Alert report.
"417 of them are based in the Liverpool City Region. It remains a challenging economic climate for everyone in the hospitality sector."
The news comes after jobs were saved at a Liverpool steak restaurant after its assets were sold following the company that operated it entering liquidation.
Holbeck Limited had been behind Churrasco Steakhouse in Paradise Street, which first opened its doors in October 2021. That restaurant is based in the former George’s Great British Kitchen site which closed in September last year, and includes a bar and approximately 85 covers.
