Rangers midfielder Ianis Hagi is 'happy' at the club, and feels he still has lots more to give after a contractual dispute saw him banished to the B team.
The Romanian internationalist spent last season on loan at Alaves in Spain's La Liga, although he didn't return to the fold for the Ibrox club's first team until October amid an issue in his contract, which was eventually solved. Hagi returned with an eventful cameo against St. Johnstone, in which he registered an assist and red card. He has found a settled place in Philippe Clement's midfield over the past month, though, and is flourishing. The 26-year-old recently opened up on his struggles and consequential return to the Rangers team in an interview with Sky Sports: "There are challenges that lie ahead of you during your football career.

"Those moments define you, you either pass them through or not. I decided to always accept the challenges that are ahead of me and try to find ways to go past them. Luckily, I'm in a position now that I came through that quite well and I'm in a happy position. "I enjoy my football, I feel like I'm a better player and a better person compared to five years ago. There's still so much more to learn, and I still feel I have so much more to give on the football pitch. "As a kid, you have so many questions that you want to be answered. I feel like right now, I've answered a lot of them, and I have the solutions to answer the few ones that I still have." Hagi's crowning moment since his reinstatement to the Rangers team came in the New Year Old Firm derby against Celtic when he slotted home the opener, which eventually propelled his side onto a memorable 3-0 victory. Clement's side managed to cut the gap on their city rivals at the top of the table to 13 points with a win over Aberdeen at Ibrox on Wednesday night, with Hagi playing 79 minutes.
