Red-y, set, go ho ho! as hundreds pound pavements for annual Perth Santa Run

More than 250 runners donned Santa suits and pounded the pavements of Perth on Saturday.

The annual Perth Santa 5k run saw an army of runners dressed as the big man himself take on a course through the city - for fun and fundraising.

Starting with a warm up on Horsecross Plaza, the runners - and some dogs - headed along High Street, finishing with a lap of the North Inch.

First across the finish line was Perth runner Alex Wylie, who was raising funds for Perth Autism Support.

The occasion was also marked by Perth and District Pipe Band who performed for runners and supporters.
