KEIR Starmer’s speech to the Scottish Labour conference is the biggest news to emerge from the party event in Glasgow this weekend. So, where was everyone?
As the Prime Minister took to the stage on Sunday, journalists noticed that it was a far cry from “standing room only”.
In fact, you could have fit Scottish Labour’s entire Westminster delegation into the empty seats in the room – and have plenty of space to spare.
The lack of attendees didn’t go unnoticed.

“Lot of empty rows for Keir Starmer speech at Scottish Labour conference,” the Daily Mail’s Tom Gordon wrote, sharing an image of the conference hall on social media.
The Sun’s Chris Musson said the same.
Sharing a similar image, he wrote: “Scottish Labour conference as Keir Starmer comes on stage.
“Lots of empty seats. Definitely not the packed-out attendance a year ago, in same venue.”

If even Scottish Labour delegates aren’t bothered about seeing what Starmer has to say, will Donald Trump?
