Groups of men were seen jumping from a plane over a Merseyside stadium.
St Helens RLFC took on Leeds Rhinos on June 23 at the Totally Wicked Stadium. Part of the pre-match routine involved a plane flying over the stadium while elite army performers the Red Devils jumped from them, parachuting onto the pitch to deliver the match ball.
As fans watched in awe, many shared memories of when they had previously seen the performers- whether it be at the famous St Helens show, or at the Saints ground.

Gillian Crosby said: "There was a time when every kid in St Helens knew what these were - they did this twice a day for three days of the St Helens show back in the day. It brought back memories watching them in the sky tonight."
While Ged McMahon added: "The Red Devils parachute display they used to be regulars at Sherdley Show back in the day."
The St Helens show began in 1968 and continued for decades, also briefly being reinvented in the early 2000s. Every year, generation after generation would head to Sherdley Park, the largest park in St Helens, to attend the St Helens show, as well as famous faces such as Cilla Black and Geoffrey Hughes.
The St Helens Show hosted a number of shows and demonstrations, as well as music performances from well-known acts, a Miss St Helens competition, air and field displays and more. Attracting thousands of visitors from across St Helens and beyond, it was at one point in time the 'largest free show' in Europe and is still fondly remembered by residents today, who often share memories and photographs on social media.
