The Red Arrows are set to take to the East Midlands skies this weekend for the largest World War II re-enactment of its kind. Hundreds of thousands of visitors will be in attendance at Foxlands Farm, in the village of Cosby, Leicestershire, between Friday, September 2, to Sunday, September 4, over the weekend.
The Victory Show’s three-day event incorporates an Educational Day for school children and their teachers on the opening day. Up to 1,000 children will attend from schools across the county.
Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 will see the show in full swing with military vehicles, the largest collection of 1940’s living history displays in the UK. The victory show says they wish to commemorate all WWII veterans.
