Red Arrows to arrive in Ayrshire tomorrow ahead of festival appearance

The Red Arrows are set to arrive in Ayrshire tomorrow ahead of a festival appearance.

The famous RAF jets are scheduled to appear at the inaugural Making Waves festival in Irvine on Saturday.

And the talented pilots will bring the aircraft to Prestwick Airport the night before the music festival gets underway.

Airport bosses have confirmed that the Arrows will touch-down at around 4pm tomorrow.

And to accommodate spectators wishing to see these incredible aircraft, the airport will open an area near 'the mound' that is located off Shaw Farm Road for parking.

This area will be open from 9am to 9pm tomorrow and 9am to 4pm on Saturday.

Prestwick chiefs said: "Please note that parking in this area is at your own risk and vehicles can not park in this area out with the above times.

"We urge that you do not park on main roads or residential areas - vehicles will be moved on. Please respect our neighbours in Monkton and Prestwick."
