Reclusive Jason Orange browses for new home after missing Take That's Coronation concert

Jason Orange has been spotted in public following the Coronation Concert earlier this month.

The former Take That singer, 52, wasn't present on stage with old bandmates Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald on May 7, as they performed for a newly crowned King Charles and a star-studded audience at Windsor Castle.

Jason's absence at the gig sparked a conversation surrounding the star's departure from Take That in 2014, with many wondering what the Relight My Fire singer is up to these days.

Spotted out and about recently, Jason appeared to be in good spirits as he cut a casual figure in a blue beanie hat and dark coat as he browsed for property at an estate agents.

The How Deep Is Your Love singer even flashed a cheeky smile as he was snapped.

The images of a happy Jason will delight Take That fans who were gutted not to see the singer perform at the King's Coronation at the start of this month.

"#CoronationConcert get Jason Orange back," one fan demanded on Twitter as the gig aired on BBC One.

"Now would be a great time to bring Jason on guys," another hopefully suggested.

Jason devastated fans when he issued a statement on Take That's website in 2014, explaining his reasons for taking a step back from the band he had been a part of since the 90s.

"I want to start by saying how proud I am of what we have achieved together over the years," the statement began.

"However, at a band meeting last week I confirmed to Mark, Gary and Howard that I do not wish to commit to recording and promoting a new album. I have spent some of the best years of my life with Take That and I’d like to thank everyone who has been a part of my journey, including my band mates, who I feel are like brothers to me.

"Most especially my gratitude goes to all of the good and kind, beautiful and ever-loyal fans of the band, without whom none of this could have been possible. Thank you."

Take That originally also included Robbie Williams but have been performing and touring as a trio over recent years.
