The 2023 Boston Celtics Media Day has taken place, marking the start of the 2023-24 NBA season for much of the season. The big event was filled with anticipation for the season soon to arrive and a general air of excitement among fans and the media.
One of the most significant topics of discussion among players and coaches was of course the trade for former Milwaukee Bucks Jrue Holiday. Celtics fans and media were abuzz with excitement over this unexpected trade. The trade required giving up Robert Williams III, a 2029 first round Celtics pick, a 2024 Golden State Warriors first, and 2023 Sixth Man of the Year Malcolm Brogdon, who had a disappointing stint with the team even winning that hardware given how injury shut him down in the postseason.
