The Denver Broncos made two changes to their practice squad on Tuesday.
First, the Broncos signed running back Salvon Ahmed to the practice squad. To make room for Ahmed, Denver released wide receiver Kaden Davis.
Davis spent just shy of three weeks on the Broncos’ practice squad this season. Ahmed spent the last four years with the Miami Dolphins before being waived this summer and now landing in Denver.
The Broncos worked out Elijah Dotson and Ahmed on Tuesday after Tyler Badie injured his back on Sunday. Ahmed won the tryout and Denver opted to sign him over Dotson.
Broncos roster moves Tuesday
1. Signed RB Salvon Ahmed to practice squad
2. Cut WR Kaden Davis from practice squad
The team will practice Wednesday and then release its first injury report of the week. Denver has not yet announced if Badie will be placed on injured reserve, but the running back seems unlikely to play in Week 5.
