The 2022 G League draft was held on Saturday. Unlike its NBA counterpart, the G League holds three rounds in its draft.
The G League is made up of 30 teams: 28 NBA team affiliates, the G League Ignite and the Mexico City Capitanes. Phoenix and Portland are the two NBA teams that do not have their own G League affiliate.
The OKC Blue are the G League affiliate of the Oklahoma City Thunder. They selected five players. The Blue had two first-round picks, two second-round picks and one third-round pick.
The Blue added the two second-round picks in a trade on Friday with the Iowa Wolves — the Minnesota Timberwolves’ G League affiliate.
