Rebekah Vardy's fresh blow over luxury stables plan

Wagatha Christie star Rebekah Vardy has hit headlines again, this time over muckraking.

The TV star and wife of Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy wants to build luxury stables at the couple's Grade II listed home but planners aren't impressed with the application. They have raised concerns over how Mrs Vardy, who earlier this year fought fellow WAG Coleen Rooney in a long courtroom battle, will get rid of horse manure.

The planning application has now been placed on hold while the matter is resolved by planners. Mrs Vardy, 35, currently lives with her husband in Lincolnshire village after paying £2.5m for their home in 2016 and have since extended it, which is believed to have caused grumbles among fellow residents, the Mirror reports.

It boasts an indoor pool, sauna, gym and has 12 bedrooms – handy, given the couple have six kids between them. But the stables plan hit a hurdle when South Kesteven District Council’s environmental protection team told the couple they must “make provision for storage and removal of horse manure from equestrian activities”.

It means they must go back to the authority with fresh plans for getting rid of the muck. Mrs Vardy is a keen rider and often posts pictures on social media of her with her mounts. The manure snag caps a messy couple of years for the star of I’m A Celebrity, Dancing on Ice and Loose Women.

She broke down in tears during a court showdown after suing Coleen for libel. The row erupted when Coleen, 36, claimed Mrs Vardy's Instagram account had leaked stories about her and ex-Everton star husband Wayne Rooney, 36.

The saga was quickly dubbed Wagatha Christie – though Mrs Vardy denies sending the messages. A High Court judge is set to announce a verdict soon.
