Rebekah Vardy has shared a heartfelt message thanking firefighters after her family was caught in a wildfire while on holiday.
The mum-of-five said the ordeal was "very scary" and took to Instagram on Thursday to thank the emergency services who were working to tackle the blazes due to the scorching temperatures across Europe.
The Vardy family had been enjoying a holiday abroad following an intense few weeks in court for the high-profile 'Wagatha Christie' trial.
Writing in Portuguese on her Instagram Stories, Rebekah, 40, said: "Waking up very grateful to the fire department that works tirelessly risking their lives to save ours thank you thinking of everyone very scary."
She had posted a picture of her family just two days earlier, captioning the post: "Fun in the sun."
Mirror Online has contacted Rebekah's representatives for comment.
Rebekah has not disclosed the location of their family holiday, but wildfires have been raging across Europe as temperatures soared above 45C (113F) in some parts of the continent.
More than 6,000 people were evacuated from campsites in south-west France as firefighters worked to tackle two fires. They were taken to a local exhibition centre for shelter.
In Portugal, major motorways and side streets were blocked by authorities in the city of Leiria as strong winds made it harder to tackle flames.
In the whole of mainland Portugal there were 2,841 firefighters on the ground. The Portuguese government has also declared a state of heightened alert which will run until Friday.
Rebekah has flown off on holiday as she awaits the verdict of her legal battle with Coleen Ronney.
Rebekah launched the legal battle after Coleen accused the WAG's Instagram account of leaking stories to the press about her private life back in October 2019.
Rebekah denies leaking stories to the media and is suing her fellow WAG for libel, while Coleen is defending the claim on the basis her post was "substantially true".
The court case ended on May 19, and the WAGs must now wait to find out who has won the highly-publicised legal battle - with Mrs Justice Steyn saying she will rule at a later date when things wrapped up last month.
