Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will not be spending Christmas with the royal family, experts claim.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to turn down their invitation to Sandringham and remain abroad instead.
While the royal family will still celebrate the festivities at the King's royal residence in Norfolk, for their first Christmas without the late Queen.
Harry and Meghan received an invite from King Charles to the family gathering, according to reports last month.
But it seems they will not be present as relations continue to sour, royal experts said.
"The Queen’s death means that there won’t be as much pressure to have all of the family together which is good because it seems Harry and Meghan won’t be present," biographer Angela Levin told The Sun.
"I’m sure Catherine and William will be there by the King and Queen’s side for part of the holiday.
“Harry and Meghan aren't coming which I think will be a huge relief for the rest of the family.
“The family will want to make it a very positive day after the Queen’s death and I think the Sussexes' presence would most certainly dampen that.”
Ms Levin believes the main reason the Sussexes will not be at Sandringham is because of the potential reaction to their Netflix Docuseries.
The programme is due for release just before Christmas and is said to show Harry and Meghan discussing royal relatives including the King, the Queen Consort and William.
The couple reportedly asked for a delay to the £88 million show until after Christmas.
Ms Levin said it is "very interesting" that they tried, with Harry trying "very very hard to get it out" for after the festive holiday.
“It makes me feel that they could very well attack the monarchy again and be very nasty about the King despite the fact that he lost his mother," she added.
The biographer went on to say that it is the Sussexes' decision on what to tell their children about Harry's family.
But another possibility could be that the royals do not want them there after the documentary, she speculated.
She added that the couple "want titles" for Archie and Lilibet but do not want them to mix "with the very people who can give them to them."
Last month, sources revealed to the Mirror fresh details from Harry's explosive memoir which also suggest he will not spend Christmas with the royals.
They said relations are at “near rock bottom” and the Duke of Sussex will snub the King's invite ahead of the book’s international release on January 10.
Titled Spare in reference to him growing up in William's shadow, the book has already sent shockwaves through the royal family.
Insiders said it was hoped there would be a “thawing of relations” between the warring relatives after the Queen’s death.
But sources said they have “no plans” to again join the family, including William and his wife Kate, for their first Christmas without the Queen at Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.
