The Prince and Princess of Wales were among the key guests at the historic King's coronation ceremony on Saturday, May 6. But spectators noticed the couple may have been slightly late to arrive at Westminster Abbey.
As millions around the world tuned in to watch Charles and Camilla being crowned, the build-up to the ceremony saw members of the Royal family and a host of guests pour into the Abbey.
But as time ticked on, many were left wondering where William and Kate were. The Mirror reports that the order of service issued by Buckingham Palace showed that they were supposed to arrive and be seated before Charles and Camilla. However, the couple and their children Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, arrived after the monarch.

The official order of service said: "Their Royal Highnesses The Prince and Princess of Wales, Princess Charlotte of Wales and Prince Louis of Wales arrive at the Great West Door and are conducted to their seats in the Lantern. All remain seated.
"Their Majesties The King and The Queen arrive at the West Gate. A fanfare is sounded. All stand."
However, all did not go to plan and William and Kate were seen taking their seats as the King was already walking into the church.
It led to many speculating on social media as to what might have happened with the scheduling. One said: "Commentators said that William & Kate were late and Charles was not pleased." Another joked: "Best laid plans lol William & Kate are late !! #MercuryRetrograde."
Royal biographer Omid Scobie, one of the authors behind Finding Freedom, said he believes the timing could down to the Wales' children.
He wrote in Harper's Bazaar about how the day went ahead smoothly but said he understood from a source that Prince William and Princess Kate joining the procession late was due to their children.
