Reason Denise Welch will be taking break from Loose Women

Denise Welch will be taking a break from Loose Women as the panelist announced she is "going off on a little adventure".

The 65-year-old has signed up for the new series of Celebrity Hunted, which started filming in Norfolk on Monday. So the stars could be anywhere by now.

Denise and her husband, artist Lincoln Townley, will compete against stars including Strictly’s Giovanni Pernice and Kai Widdrington in the Channel 4 series in which celebs attempt to go on the run from a team of hunters for 14 days, the Mirror reports.

Denise recently announced she would be taking a break for a fortnight, seemingly to film the show.

She said: “I’m going off on a little adventure for a couple of weeks so I’m going to be off here and off my phone. I don’t quite know how I’m going to cope, but I’m going to give it a try, so don’t think I have disappeared.

“It’s just a temporary little holiday and I’ll be back soon.”

It comes a month after singer Taylor Swift was revealed to be dating Denise’s son, Matty Healy, from The 1975. Matty has performed with Taylor’s opening act, Phoebe Bridgers, during her current US tour.
