Bruno Fernandes has described how Erik ten Hag has been pushing full-throttle in training since his arrival at Manchester United.
Clips of the Dutch coach taking sessions have been released by the club over the past few weeks and his demanding ethos is something that has gone down well with supporters. Among other aspects, he has mostly been seen conducting quick-ball passing and phased build-up play since he came through the Carrington doors.
Ten Hag will be able to put his plans into practice - albeit without the presence of Cristiano Ronaldo - today when United take on Liverpool in a pre-season clash in Bangkok at 2pm. Onlookers will be given insight into his tactics for the first time, with Fernandes set to be a key part of his revolution.

Fresh from taking on the No.8 jersey, the Portugal playmaker told club media of Ten Hag’s high standards on the training pitch. “It’s been pretty intense,” he said.
“He (Ten Hag) likes intense training, reactions when you lose the ball. He likes everyone to run. He’s been really good.
“Everyone is enjoying [it], obviously. Everyone gets really tired at the end of the training but that’s what we have to do.”
Fernandes added: “We have to be like that at the end of the training, but then you know the training was really good. As I said, we have to do the hard work because, if we do it now, then we will be fit for the beginning of the season.
“We all know the first games of the season are strange, but we want to be the ones that will be winning. We have to do the maximum that we can and what the coach and all the staff ask us to do.”
