Reality star Lateysha Grace had to rush her premature baby back to hospital. The 29-year-old former Big Brother star rushed baby Layke, who was born at just 34 weeks, to hospital after she noticed a change in her breathing.
The Welsh reality star kept fans up to date with a series of videos on her Instagram feed. Earlier this month, she gave birth to a second daughter after being rushed into hospital with symptoms of pre-eclampsia.
Little baby Layke was born at the start of March at just 34 weeks weighing 3.14lbs, with the Port Talbot model and reality TV star posting about her arrival on Instagram.

But while at home with the newborn she became concerned, saying: “Layke kept doing this thing between feeds where she would just hold her breath and I would be like what the hell," the panicked mum said. “I’d blow on her face and she’d regain her breathing again. It was really strange because she had never done that before.
“She was making different noises, like a grunting but I thought it was wind because she had been constipated. But it was getting more and more and that was a concern.
“And then I fed her, winded her and put her to bed and she kept making the noises and she just wasn’t acting herself. She just wasn’t responsive. She was breathing really fast and went pale, so I was like no something isn’t right.
“So we ran out the house and went to the nearest hospital to ours and I ran in and was like ‘please just help me’.”
Lateysha explained the hospital didn’t have the right facilities to care for her premature baby, reports the Mirror, but luckily experts from the hospital where she was born soon arrived and she spent some time back in the newborn intensive care unit where she started her life.
The reality star, who is best known for her appearances on The Valleys, Million Dollar Baby and Celebrity Ex on the Beach, had previously asked followers to 'pray' for her unborn child after she was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia during pregnancy.
The condition, which affects about six per cent of pregnancies, had affected Lateysha for a few weeks before she gave birth.
Speaking in February, she said: “What’s meant to be the most exciting week for me has turned out to be the worst !
“Honestly if anyone feels like they may have preeclampsia please get it checked out ASAP it’s so dangerous to you and your baby . I don’t know how long I’m going to be in here for but please just pray for my baby.”
Lateysha shot into the public eye back in 2012 when she joined the reality show The Valleys which aired on MTV, she also appeared on Big Brother in 2016 and in 2018 began her own MTV series "Million Dollar Baby" which followed Lateysha and her daughter Wynter as she tried to earn Wynter £1 million.
On Mother's Day she updated fans with a picture of baby Layke back at home with her older sister Wynter and said: "On days you feel your worst , remember you are beautiful, on days you feel exhausted physically and mentally remember you are amazing . On days where your not sure how much more you can take, look back and see how far you’ve come .
"On days you feel like you can possibly not fight another battle , look at all yours scars and be proud of the battle you’ve already won .
On days you feel alone , please know that you never are."
