Southampton manager Nathan Jones said he would be "up till 3am" watching Everton ahead of their showdown on Saturday.
The Saints stunned Manchester City as they brushed aside Pep Guardiola's side to move into the last four of the Carabao Cup.
Sekou Mara and Moussa Djenepo found the back of the net in their triumph as their first-half goals were enough to seal their place in the semi-finals - where they will play Newcastle United over two legs.

Jones though decided he would only momentarily bask in his achievement over the eight-time winners as he immediately cast his focus on their battle at Goodison Park on Saturday.
"Absolutely not dreaming because, well, I'll be up till 3am in the morning watching Everton. We go in tomorrow, have a long day tomorrow then we have one day to prepare then a flight to Everton," he said.
"Reality bites, I'll have 20 seconds in there (the dressing room) where I'll have one glass of wine then the reality hits, well at least I won't get any abuse on the way home."
The Blues will go head-to-head with Jones' side as both teams look to form a decent run and push away from the drop zone. The Welshman arrived at St Mary's in November from Luton but has yet to win in the Premier League since taking over.
Southampton are at the foot of the table and sit three points behind Everton. Managers of both sides go into the contest under pressure but a win for the Saints would make it three in three and move level on points with the Blues after back-to-back cup scalps for the south coast side.
