Real Sociedad have paid tribute to Alexander Isak after the striker officially joined Newcastle United on Friday. The Spanish side sent their immediate well wishes as the 22-year-old was unveiled at St. James' Park after days of speculation.
Isak arrives at Newcastle as the club's record signing after joining in a deal worth £58m. The Swedish forward has signed a long-term deal on Tyneside and may be available for Sunday's trip to Wolves.
The deal includes add-ons, with Real Sociedad receiving additional funds should Isak hit certain appearance and goal milestones. Newcastle have also included a sell-on fee, ensuring their Spanish counterparts will receive a percentage of any future sale.

The former Borussia Dortmund forward managed 44 goals and eight assists in La Liga for Sociedad, with the Spanish club saying their farewells on Friday afternoon.
"Real Sociedad wants to thank Alex for the professionalism and dedication shown during his years at our club, while wishing him the best for his personal and professional future," the club wrote. "Three seasons and scoring from the start in the fourth as a txuri urdin, Isak has been one of the last great values of Real Sociedad.
"A great protagonist in that historic cup tie against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu, Isak has won over the public for his dedication and determination in every action with our shirt. Forty-four times you have brought your fans to their feet by jumping backwards. Thanks for everything Alex."
Speaking upon his arrival, Isak said: "I'm delighted to have it done. It was a big, big decision for me but it is a decision I am really happy with. It is a great, historical club that I think anyone would like to play for, with amazing fans.
"They were a big part of why I came here - and also the club's project, which is one that I really believe in. You always want to go into a team and know how they play. I think Newcastle play very attractive football and I want to be a part of that."
