Antonio Rudiger tonight starts for Real Madrid against Manchester City in the Champions League.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side are favourites after Madrid overcame City 3-2 in the first leg, having staged yet another late comeback in this competition.

The European champions have been beset by injuries this season but have recently been handed a boost, with Alaba back on the bench and Rudiger starting.

Both defenders sat out of the 1-1 draw with Osasuna in which Jude Bellingham was sent off for comments made to the match official.

The England international, however, will be available for Wednesday’s game against the Premier League giants.
