Real Madrid have been tipped to sign Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland in this summer’s transfer window due to Barcelona ’s financial troubles.
The pair of La Liga giants are among the clubs who are interested in making moves for two of Europe’s biggest stars, with both of them looking set to join new sides at the end of the season.
Mbappe will see his contract at Paris Saint-Germain expire, with little sign that he will be signing a new deal to extend his stay in the French capital.
Haaland meanwhile appears certain to depart Borussia Dortmund when a release clause in his contract becomes active, having starred for the Bundesliga side over the last two years.
There is set to be an almighty battle between Europe’s top clubs over the duo, though Mbappe’s future seems to be more certain than Haaland’s.

The Frenchman has long been linked with a move to Madrid, with it seemingly being only a matter of time before he is being presented as Los Blancos’ newest Galactico.
While there has been some doubt about whether he will in fact stay at PSG following this week’s Champions League clash between the two sides, Mbappe’s move to Madrid appears certain.
Haaland’s future though is in the air, with a range of clubs set to battle it out to bring in the Norwegian international.
Madrid are set to battle the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City and PSG for the 21-year-old.
But two clubs who’s race for Haaland appears to be run are Barcelona and Juventus, with the duo’s financial struggles leaving them unable to compete with their rivals.
That is certainly the view of La Liga president Javier Tebas, who has now tipped Madrid to complete deals for both Mbappe and Haaland.
“Madrid will get Mbappe and [Erling] Haaland as the others [Barcelona and Juventus] are half [financially] ruined,” he said.
“That Mbappe comes is great news for LaLiga. It would be a joy for LaLiga. It's the best thing that could happen to LaLiga.”
Tebas did have to clarify that he had no inside information on Mbappe’s transfer, but insisted that previous transfer market trends point to a move to Los Blancos.
“I have no information regarding Mbappe,” Tebas added.
“But I've seen few cases of players who have six months left on their contracts that have not renewed their contracts and then went on to continue at the club.”
Mbappe himself has insisted that he is yet to make a decision on his future beyond the end of the season.
“I play for one of the best teams in the world,” he told Movistar TV following his starring role in PSG’s Champions League win over Madrid earlier this week.
“I'm going to give it my all for the remainder of the season. I haven't decided on my future.”
Haaland is also open to offers, with former Swansea star Michu revealing that the Dortmund striker is eyeing a move to La Liga.
“Haaland is looking for a very strong team that can compete in the Champions League. He's looking for a competitive team,” Michu told Cadena SER.
“He gave me the feeling that he's looking for a long-term sporting project and he told me he likes Spain.”
