Real Madrid vs Chelsea TV channel, live stream and how to watch in US

Chelsea return to Champions League action on Wednesday with a tough trip to Spanish giants Real Madrid. The first leg takes place at the Santiago Bernabeu before the Blues welcome Carlo Ancelotti's side to Stamford Bridge next week.

Many have tipped Los Blancos to progress to the semi-final with little trouble due to Chelsea's disappointing season. The West Londoners are now being managed by their fourth boss of the season following Frank Lampard's return to the club.

The Blues' only chance of participating in the Champions League next season now likely rests on them going the distance in this campaign's edition meaning they must be firing on all cylinders in the Spanish capital on Wednesday.

Supporters are able to watch the contest in both the United Kingdom and USA. The game is live on BT Sport Ultimate and BT Sport 1, with coverage starting at 7pm on both channels domestically.

In the United States, CBS Sports Golazo will continue their coverage of the Champions League on CBS and Paramount+. The show returned for the first time since March last night for Manchester City's 3-0 win over Bayern Munich with Micah Richards, Thierry Henry and Jamie Carragher joining Kate Abdo.

Chelsea will be hoping for a repeat of last season's 3-2 win in Spain. Thomas Tuchel's side were knocked out of the competition 5-4 on aggregate after Karim Benzema's strike in extra-time, though.

"Every new year in football brings a new story," Lampard said. "Having watched Real Madrid and having a relationship with Carlo Ancelotti who’s been incredible in his time here, the players have to understand: this is a special arena and a special club, anything can happen and some things you can’t control.

"We have to control what we can control… understand the quality of the player in the Real Madrid team… but my focus will not be on last year."
