The fight to top Group F in the Champions League has gone down to the final round of fixtures as Real Madrid look to complete the job tonight.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side, the defending champions after their win over Liverpool in Paris at the end of last season, have a one-point advantage over RB Leipzig. so victory on home soil over Celtic would be enough for them to secure top spot.
They’ll be confident of doing so, with Celtic already eliminated having failed to win any of their first five group-stage matches. The Scottish side had some bright moments against Real in Glasgow in September, before the visitors ran away with it in the final half an hour to win 3-0.
It has not been hugely convincing from Real recently, losing in Germany to Leipzig to follow up a draw with Shakhtar Donetsk, results that leave them with work still to do.
