Carlo Ancelotti says he has no special plans for the Real Madrid players walking the disciplinary tight-rope in the Champions League quarter-final first leg against Arsenal.

The holders will be without Aurelien Tchouameni for the big game in north London as the midfielder is suspended after picking up his third booking in the competition during the last-16 penalty shootout win over Atletico Madrid.

Ahead of Tuesday night’s clash, Vinicius Junior is among six Real Madrid players who are at risk of a ban.

The Brazilian and Lucas Vazquez boast four yellows apiece thus far in the campaign and UEFA rules stipulate a fifth booking at the Emirates Stadium will result in a one-game suspension.

Endrick, Eduardo Camavinga, former Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger and veteran ex-Tottenham midfielder Luka Modric also need to be careful as one mis-timed tackle or act of dissent towards the officials will land them in hot water.

As yellow cards in the Champions League are not reset until after the quarter-final stage, it means another booking for Vinicius and/or the aforementioned quintet in the first leg against at the Emirates would see them banned for the second leg at the Santiago Bernabeu.

However, Ancelotti has suggested that the threat of suspensions will not impact his Real Madrid team selection against the Gunners.

“I'm not going to change anything,” the Italian told reporters. “We know that if they can't play in Madrid we have substitutes. Tchouameni is suspended for tomorrow.”

Los Blancos go into the game on the back of a disappointing 2-1 home defeat to Valencia at the weekend.

The result leaves Real Madrid four points behind Barcelona at the top of the LaLiga table with eight fixtures left to play.
