The Real Housewives of Cheshire star Tanya Bardsley has spoken out about having surgery on her eyebrows after they 'dropped' through years of botox and suffering from depression and anxiety.
Tanya shared a frank Instagram post with an unfiltered photo of her new look.
And the reality star, who was last year diagnosed with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) which can develop anxiety disorders, shared her transformation side-by-side with an old airbrushed photo.
The reality star and entrepreneur mum-of-four explained: "The second picture is a professional picture but you can see how low my brows had dropped from years of botox and anxiety and depression which I now know was ADHD all along... anyway I love the results.
"I have three small scar in my hair line which you can hardly see and I’ll never have to have botox again."
As well as quitting botox - injections to relax the muscles in the face to smooth out lines and wrinkles - the mum-of-four has also given up alcohol and is drinking two litres of water a day.
Fans remarked that Tanya looked different as she shared a snap of herself and her footballer husband Phil at the Simply Red concert in Manchester on Sunday.
She continued: "Probably loads of people are saying what have I done to my face ... well I’ve had my brows put back to where they were when I was 21 and I’ve given up alcohol and drink celery juice every morning and 2 litres of water everyday and I’m not in pain of depression and anxiety any more."
Tanya credited her friend DJ Fat Tony for helping to bring her out of a 'very dark place.'
"I’d like to thank @dj_fattony_ for getting me off alcohol which made my ADHD worse," she typed.
"I didn’t have a drinking problem I had a five day hangover problem which affected me mentally and my family, @dj_fattony_ honestly deserves a OBE for his services to helping people he really does and I feel so lucky to have him in my life."
She added about her transformation: "You can see the pain in my eyes in the second pic even tho it’s airbrushed to death."
In December Tanya announced that she was stepping down from the hit ITVBe reality show Real Housewives after six years after battling with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
Tanya, one of the original cast of the ITVBe reality series, made the announcement that she was leaving during the reunion episode in a chat with host Brian Dowling.
"I'm having to take a step back from the show which I'm gutted about because I absolutely love the show," she told Brian.
"And I love the crew, the crew are like family to me, and some of the girls not all of them," she joked.
She explained: "So I've just decided to go back to having ADHD.
"I've come off the pills. I'm still learning how to navigate and stuff like that.
"So I'm just going to be stepping back from Housewives and being the number one fan."
She added: "You never know, one day I might be back."
