NeNe Leakes appears to be putting the past behind her in a bid to help out her former co-star Kim Zolciak.
In May, fellow Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim filed for divorce from her husband, former American football player, Kroy Biermann.
Though NeNe and Kim haven't always been on the same page, NeNe claims to have reached out to check in on Kim. In 2021, when NeNe's husband Gregg died Kim was there for the fellow Bravo star, so NeNe is now returning the sweet gesture.
The divorce between Kim and Kroy has been harrowing. After news broke of the couple owing over $1.1 million in unpaid federal taxes, Kim filed for divorce. They also owe $15,000 in unpaid taxes to the state of Georgia.
Their money troubles didn't end there, with Kim recently sued by Target for not paying a credit card bill totalling almost $2,500, while Kroy is currently being sued for not paying a $52,000 credit line to a casino in the Bahamas.
Last month, Kim called the police on her ex-husband claiming he was threatening to call the police on a family friend who took their child to a rodeo show.
Both Kroy and Kim are also asking for sole custody of the children. The couple has four children together, Kroy Jagger, 12, Kash Kade, 11, and twins Kaia Rose and Kane Ren, 10. In 2013, Kroy adopted Kim's two daughters from her previous relationships, Brielle Karenna, 26, and Ariana Lenee, 22. Both adopted daughters took their step-father's last name.
All this, and the two are still living in the same house. Even though earlier this year, the family home went into foreclosure.
After meeting at a charity event in 2010, Kroy and Kim married on 11 November 2011.
NeNe isn't the only Real Housewife commenting on the divorce, Bethenny Frankel from the New York City franchise took to social media to tell Kim and Kroy to 'pay their f***ing bills.'
NeNe and Kim were both original cast members of Real Housewives of Atlanta and famously never got along.
NeNe stayed on for the first seven seasons and then returned for seasons 10 through 12. She hasn't made an appearance on the show since. Kim however only stayed on the show for five seasons but has made appearances in a few seasons, including the current one.
