The Real Housewives of Cheshire enjoyed the sunshine at Haydock Races as they turned out in all colours of the rainbow. Stars of the ITVBe reality show Hanna Kinsella, Nicole Sealey, Nermina Pieters-Mekic, Seema Malhotra and Sheena Lynch dazzled as they formed a fruity colour palette at the Betfred Rose Of Lancaster Stakes Ladies Day.
The ladies, who were at the event with Seema's fashion brand Forever Unique, enjoyed the races with Coronation Street favourites Charlotte Jordan, who plays Daisy Midgeley, Ellie Leach who plays Faye Windass, Faye Brookes, who played Kate Connor in the soap from 2015 to 2019 and Lucy Fallon who played Bethany Platt from 2015 to 2020. And they were joined by reality star Charlotte Dawson and her mum Tracy and author Safiyya Vorajee. They all looked sensational in colourful outfits from the label.
Safiyya Vorajee movingly wore orange in memory of her baby girl Azaylia Cain who passed away at just eight months old last April after battling leukaemia. Safiyya, who penned the book Loving and Losing You, Azaylia: My Inspirational Daughter and our Unbreakable Bond with her account of motherhood, hope and loss, set up The Azaylia Foundation to fight childhood cancer with Azaylia's dad Ashley Cain.

Brave Azaylia, who underwent four rounds of chemotherapy for acute myeloid leukaemia, received messages of support from around the world including from Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. She was diagnosed with the rare form of leukaemia when she was two months old and had been receiving treatment at Birmingham Children's Hospital.
In April the first Wear Orange for Azaylia Day was held in Nuneaton, with orange being the colour of leukemia awareness. "Orange for Azaylia" wrote Safiyya as she shared snaps of herself from the races on her Instagram posing with fellow guests including Charlotte and Nermina who were wearing the same colour.
She typed: "What a ladies day that was. Such a beautiful day with incredible women, dressing up showing up & finding that confidence is always hard for me at the moment but I did it. Who runs the world GIRLS."
The Real Housewives of Cheshire, which follow the lives of glam ladies living in the 'Golden Triangle' of Cheshire, returns to our screens in September. But first there will be a two-part special exploring the menopause and the stigma that surrounds it.
Screened on Monday and Tuesday night at 9pm on ITVBe Seema and Nicole are on a mission to get the other Housewives talking all things menopause. Seema, who turned 50 last August, admits that her confidence was knocked after her medically induced menopause.
And, like Seema, Nicole has been menopausal for a while but is unable to take HRT so is trying to balance her symptoms through diet and exercise. Co-star Rachel Lugo, who has so far been ignoring the possibility that she may be menopausal, may be forced to confront the idea it’s just around the corner. And although Lauren Simon has had some menopausal symptoms, she hasn’t been giving the menopause much thought either.
