Reading Station: Man charged after 24-year-old dies on train platform

Kirkpatrick Virgo Murder

A man has been charged with murder after a train passenger died on a platform at Reading Station after an alleged altercation in a carriage.

British Transport Police said Kirkpatrick Virgo, 42, of Slough will appear at court on Monday charged in connection with the murder of a 24-year-old man on Saturday.

Virgo is charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court.
