Reacting to absurd hot takes after the Jaylen Brown supermax extension with the Boston Celtics

In the wake of All-NBA Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown agreeing to an historic supermax contract extension that is the richest contract in league history, opinions circulated on Twitter about whether certain players are better than Brown.

Denver Nuggets big man Nikola Jokic, Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, Los Angeles Lakers veteran LeBron James, Phoenix Suns swingman Kevin Durant and Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert were some of the players Brown was compared to after the announcement. The implication was those players would be more deserving of a supermax contract.
