RB Leipzig stunned by Celtic as Postecoglou's side shown how it's done on impressive youth away day

Celtic have came up with an impressive victory in their latest UEFA Youth League meeting, beating RB Leipzig 2-1 win away from home.

Ange Postecoglou's senior side are in action against the Bundesliga club on Champions League Group F's third matchday, having obtained a point from their opening two matches against Real Madrid and Shakhtar Donetsk. They would certainty take the same result their young team have managed to obtain on the road as they spark life into their own European hopes.

Having lost 6-0 and 2-1 to Shakhtar, it's a welcome result in Group F as Los Blancos take charge of the four-team section, leaving the other three to battle it out for second. It was a perfect start for the Hoops as Rocco Vata continued to display his potential with a goal inside the first minute. Things got even better as nine minutes later their lead was doubled, leaving the hosts shocked.

Tsoanelo Letsosa made it 2-0 and gave the German outfit a mountain to climb early doors, although they did attempt to scale it.

Max Voigt got one back for Leipzig but the damage was done as Celtic head back to Parkhead with three points in the bag.

They'll play the same three teams again on matchdays four, five and six as the Hoops look to try and make it out the group.
