RB Leipzig boss Domenico Tedesco has threatened to make wholesale changes for their Europa League showdown at Ibrox and revealed he will need to completely rethink his game plan for Rangers.
Rangers welcome the Germans to Ibrox for the second leg but Leipzig are suddenly in turmoil after losing two Bundesliga games in a row following Monday night's dismal display in a 3-1 loss to ten-men Borussia Monchengladbach.
The defeat means they are out of the automatic Champions League places after plummeting to fifth spot and they may now need to win the Europa League to get into Europe's premier competition for next season.
And irate Italian boss Tedesco was far from pleased at his side's display. He said: "So we now need to find brand new ideas for Glasgow and we also need new personnel too.
"Tiredness was no reason for this defeat, even if our intensity was completely lacking in the first half.
"We were so far out of it in the first half that I might as well have taken the tactics board and thrown it in the bin. The first half was not good enough.
"We improved in the second half, but out of nowhere they scored to make it 3-1 with only ten men and that was the knockout blow for us.
"It's going to be very difficult now to get into the Champions League through our league position because our last two games are against Augsburg and Arminia Bielefeld who are both fighting for survival, so they are two difficult matches."
