Celtic are still searching for a first Champions League win of the season as they suffered a Callum McGregor injury scare.
The Hoops skipper had to be replaced towards the end of the second half as their Champions League matchday three showdown ended in defeat at the Red Bull Arena against RB Leipzig. The much talked about Christopher Nkunku was on target but Ange Postecoglou's men once again had their chances but once again were not clinical enough at key moments.
Jota had the Hoops level after a superb flowing move but the hosts punished Joe Hart after a major blunder before adding a brilliant third. The Bundesliga side also had two goals chopped off for offside by VAR in an entertaining match in Germany.

The two sides meet once again next week at Parkhead in a huge match for Celtic if they have any hopes of reaching the last 16 of the competition. They are still firmly in the hunt for qualification or at minimum Europa League football after Christmas with a huge second half of the section to come over the course of the next five weeks or so.
Here are three things we learned from Celtic's Champions League defeat in Germany.
Wonderkid
Christopher Nkunku is one of Europe's best talents.
So much so, rumours of a move to Chelsea for next season are already rife.
Not only did he superbly round Joe Hart to score on the counter-attack but he had a goal ruled out for offside after a stunning chip over the advancing keeper.
He was a constant threat to the Celtic backline and is a cert to reach the very very top.
Made to pay
Celtic had numerous chances in a bright first half spell but failed to convert big chances.
RB Leipzig then ventured up the other side of the park on the counter to take the lead.
It's been a pattern of the Hoops' Champions League campaign this season.
Similar to Shakhtar Donetsk in Poland - they were unable to convert when on top and got punished.
It's a ruthless business at Europe's top table and you have to be clinical.
Mistakes will always be punished - just as Joe Hart found out.
Midway report
Celtic are now past the halfway stage of their Champions League campaign and are still searching for a first win.
Two defeats and a draw leaves the Hoops stranded at the bottom of the group as things stand.
Should Real Madrid beat Shakhtar later on this evening it would leave the Hoops just three points off second spot.
Despite the winless start, they would still be well in contention with the Ukrainian side and Leipzig to visit Parkhead.
